BH2 Parts from the Empire of Dirt Workshop
Note: Because the actual components, which are made in black plastic, are difficult to photograph, the component images in this section are idealized computer renderings, rather than photographs, to illustrate the physical geometry of the various parts.
The STL files for these parts are available for free, to allow anybody to print them for non-commercial purposes. If you don’t have access to a 3D printer, perhaps you have a niece/nephew or a grand child who can print these for you. If not, contact me and I can supply them for the prices listed below (with significant discounts available if you buy multiple items).

Slide Knob for the Intensity Control
This is an ABS or PETG plastic knob which replaces the intensity slide knob on the BH2. Price: $7.50 / Each
Trinocular Shaft Knob
This is a replacement knob for the diverter shaft on the BH2 trinocular heads. Comes with a mounting screw. PETG or ABS plastic. Price: $5.00 / Each
Knob Caps
These are a a pair of end caps for the BH2 fine-focus knobs. These are made of PETG or ABS plastic with a textured surface. Price: $7.50 / Pair
BHT / BHTU Feet
These are a a set of four replacement feet for the BHT/BHTP/BHTU microscope stands. These are made of TPU plastic with 100% infill for maximum durability. Price: $15.00 / Set of four

CT5 Adapter
This adapter allows the CT-5 (23mm) phase telescope to be used in the 30mm ocular tubes of the super-wide binocular or trinocular head. PETG or ABS plastic. Price: $7.50 / Each
WHK / SWHK Eyepiece Rings with Smooth Outer Barrels
This is a pair of ABS plastic rings to replace the damaged rings on your SWHK10 or WHK10 eyepieces. These rings have a smooth outer barrel. Price: $7.50 / Pair

This is a pair of ABS plastic rings to replace the damaged rings on your SWHK10 or WHK10 eyepieces. These rings have a ridged outer barrel. Price: $7.50 / Pair
Stage Height Preset Lock Collar
This is an ABS plastic piece that can be used to make a replacement for the stage height preset lock collar on the BH2. This is only the raw plastic piece, without the threaded brass insert. To use this part, you must remove the brass insert from the original part, and then press it into this part, making sure that the thread-clocking of the brass insert is consistent with the desired orientation of the lock tab. Alternatively, you can send me your damaged lock collar, along with the threaded lock ring and the rotating lock disk from your scope, and I can assemble the lock collar to match the other lock components, and return it all, properly clocked and ready for installation onto your scope.

BHTU Stand
These BHTU microscope stands have been freshly serviced and are ready to be put to work. The coaxial focus mechanism, focus slide block, nosepiece turret, field diaphragm aperture ring, and viewing-head locking screw have been completely disassembled, cleaned, and reassembled with fresh lubricants used throughout. The electrical base has been serviced as well (this includes a new electrolytic capacitor, PCB solder joints inspected touched up as necessary, and the intensity slider cleaned or replaced). You don’t have to put up with a stiff focus mechanism or inoperative lighting any longer! Price: $TBD / Each
