LS20H 20W Halogen Lamphouse

There were two versions of the LS20H halogen lamphouse made for the 20W BHT/BHTU scopes (also used on the Ill-B and Ill-K stereo bases). The original version (5-LB402) did not contain a lamp reflector. Eventually, Olympus began losing sales to Nikon, who were supplying some of their newer scopes with 30W halogen lighting. As a quick-and-dirty way to remain completive with these 30W scopes and without completely redesigning the lighting electronics, Olympus added a metal reflector to the LS20H lamphouse, changing the part number to 5-S119 in the process. The 5-S119 seems to provide around 25% more usable light than the early 5-LB402 version.
